And the King answering shall say to them, Verily, I say to you, Inasmuch as ye have done it to one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it to me. And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it unto one of these my brethren, even these least, ye did it unto me.

About-
Like many things, STEMBraced is a miraculous journey that was never intentionally set out to turn into an organization, but rather an accidental display of God's Love that seems to continue to move forward. As most of us know, God can lead us into the most amazing and unexpected adventures if we just stay focused on Him. The founder, Shelly A Munoz is a 7th grade Life Science teacher, STEM consultant and a space enthusiast~ she is a NASA Solar System Ambassador, MAVEN Ambassador, HelioPhysics Ambassador and a Zero G's survivor- lol. Shelly had just been accepted to Honeywell's Space Academy ( an mini astronaut training program for teachers) in 2010. It just so happens that two weeks later, Shelly and her son Matthew were leaving for a mission trip to Kunming China to work in an orphanage. Three days before she left, the director called and asked if she could set up a day of activities for the children. Excited to use the curriculum she has just received, without even realizing it, STEMbraced was born. Shelly had a prayer that each summer she would be able to take her son's somewhere in the world for evangelical outreach- and God has answered this prayer. SInce the inception of STEMbraced, Shelly and her son's Matthew and Michael have traveled to China, Japan, Guam, Indonesia, Mexico ,and the United States. Currently STEMbraced is planning a mission trip to Haiti in early June of 2015. STEMbraced mission is to STEMpower under served, foster and orphaned children throughout the world, that they too can follow their dreams, have hope, and reach for the stars. Through this STEMulating message using science, technology, engineering and mathematics we have a beautiful message of God's Love for them. We STEMbrace them with Love, Hope, encourage educational opportunities and while sharing the love of Christ- who through all things are possible. |
